Ogbeide linked with vacant Kwara United job

15 December 2015, 09:57

Lagos - Former Julius Berger coach Solomon Ogbeide has been linked with the Kwara United job after the club's relegation to the Nigeria National League.

The management of the Harmony Boys are on a search for an experienced trainer in order to return to the Nigeria Professional Football League.

News24 understands that the ex-Warri Wolves gaffer is amongst a host of coaches Kwara United are looking to hold talks with.

Kwara United's football chiefs refused to comment Monday on reports linking the coach to the team's vacant coaching job.

Ogbeide has emerged, along with former Sharks coach John Sam Obuh, as a possible replacement for sacked Tunde Abdulrahman.

News24, quoting unnamed sources, said the management of the club may officially offer the job to Ogbeide in the coming days.

Along with former Bendel Insurance coach, other names suggested for the post include current Kogi United coach Fatai Osho, Niger Tornadoes coach Abdullahi Biffo and Nasarawa United boss Kabiru Dogo.
