Abuja - The Chairman of Kano Pillars Football Club, Kabiru Baita, has said that the team will ride on the waves of her participation at COPA Lagos 2015 beach soccer club challenge in preparation for the 2015/2016 Globacom Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Baita said, "The competition will afford his team the opportunity to test their popularity among the vociferous Lagos football fans and equally prepare the team for the fourth coming 2015/16 football season"
Kano Pillars, three times Globacom Nigeria Professional Football League Champions, will compete at the forth coming Beach Soccer club challenge with FC Barcelona, 3SC and Pepsi Academy.

Captain and the longest standing goalkeeper for the club Theophilus Afelokhai, believes that Copa Lagos Club challenge with FC Barcelona, 3SC and Pepsi Academy will be a learning curve and added experience for the players as beach soccer is still relatively new in Nigeria.
According to him, 'the players will have a new orientation that will expose them to new techniques to beach soccer which will be used as pre-season for the 2015/16 Globacom Nigeria Professional Football League as its obtained in Europe.'
COPA Lagos, Nigeria’s highly entertaining international beach soccer festival will hold this year at the Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island, from Friday December 18 to Sunday December 20, 2015.
