Lagos - Enugu Rangers have returned to the summit of the Nigeria Premier League after beating Akwa United 3-0 in one of the MatchDay seven fixtures.
Rangers have now gone one point clear with 14 points from seven games, and are closely trailed by MFM FC with 13 points from same number of games, after the Lagos side lose 1-0 to Heartland in Owerri.
Giwa FC recorded the only away victory, beating host Ikorodu United 2-1 at the Onikan Stadium.
Wikki Tourists were 2-1 better than Niger Tornadoes, and so was Plateau United over Lobi Stars, and El Kanemi Warriors over FC IfeanyiUbah.
Shooting Stars managed a 1-0 win over Rivers Uniyed at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, a result that now earns the Oluyole Warriors nine points from five games.
