Sharks striker set to join Niger Tornadoes

Lagos - Sharks FC striker Daniel Jackson is close to sealing a deal with Nigeria National League champions Niger Tornadoes, News24 can exclusively reveal.

Jackson caught the interest of Tornadoes officials after excelling despite Sharks relegation to the NNL at the end of the 2014/15 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Tornadoes coach Abdullahi Usman Biffo is said to have made an official approach for the signature of the attacker.

Jackson could be joining the newly promoted NPFL outfit should he agree terms with the Club.

Sharks officials are planning to extend the contract of the forward.

Meanwhile, bulky striker Ebenezer Odeyemi is close to joining Niger Tornadoes.

The Enyimba forward is ready to make a move to the club but it remains to be seen if the management of the People's Elephants will sanction the deal.

Odeyemi, who has defended the colours of Kogi United and Prime FC in the past was sent on-loan at Wikki Tourists in the second round of the 2014/15 NPFL campaign.
