Siasia calls up 42 Eagles for Egypt fixtures

Lagos - Super Eagles interim coach Samson Siasia has invited 42 players for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier double header against Egypt.

Nigeria host Egypt in Kaduna on March 25 and play same team away four days later in the return leg fixture.

The list consist of a mixture of 20 foreign based players and 22 home based stars.

John Obi Mikel leads the regulars along with Watford’s Odion Ighalo, CSKA Moscow’s Ahmed Musa, Monaco’s Elderson Echiejile and Lazio’s Ogenyi Onazi.

Youngsters Kelechi Iheanacho of Manchester City and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi are also in the squad, while West Ham’s Victor Moses, Lokomotiv Moscow’s Aaron Samuel and South Africa-based goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi return.
