Abuja - The Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung has
mourned the death of Nigeria Football Federation Protocol Officer Ibrahim
Abubakar was killed in his residence in Abuja in the early
hours of Wednesday by armed men.
Dalung, on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the
secretariat of the NFF).
"It is really a sad loss, not just for the NFF, but for
the entire Sports Family. This sad occurrence has again brought to the fore the
need for adequate security in the country; a situation where we all live in
fear of the unknown is worrisome," Dalung stated.

The minister later signed the condolence register in honor
of late Ibrahim Abubukar.
In his response, NFF Deputy General Secretary, Emmanuel
Ikpeme thanked the Minister for his gesture and quick response.
