Uyo - The Super Eagles on Wednesday thrashed Akwa United of
Uyo, 3-0 in a friendly match to prepare the national team for the Nations Cup
qualifier against Tanzania.
The Nigeria/Tanzania match would be played on Saturday at
the Godswill Akpabio International stadium, Uyo, where the friendly was played.
Greece based striker, Brown Ideye, opened scoring for the
Eagles in the 28th minute while midfielder, Nosa Igiebor scored the second goal
in the 38th minute.

Watford FC of England striker, Odion Ighalo, scored the
third goal when he converted a penalty kick in the 70th minute.
The match witnessed the introduction of the trio of Captain John
Obi Mikel, Trust Ekong and Victor Moses in the second half.
