Super Eagle’s wife kidnapped in Warri

Warri - Super Eagles midfielder Fegor Ogude is searching for his wife who has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Warri, Delta State, The Cable report.

Wife of the Amkar Perm of Russia player, Maimunat Ogude was whisked away in her car around 8pm on Monday when she went out with her kids. The children however, were not taken along with her.

Ogude said he immediately reported the incident to the police who have now found his car in Ughelli.

The former Warri Wolves player said he has not heard anything from the abductors, neither has any ransom been demanded.

Ogude was selected for the Nigerian national team in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Madagascar.

He was called up to Nigeria's 23-man squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and won the trophy with the Super Eagles in 2013.

He was also selected for Nigeria's squad at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup
