UCL: Dynamo Kiev VS Manchester City fact file

23 February 2016, 13:17

Kiev - Factfile on Dynamo Kiev and Manchester City ahead of the Champions League last 16, first leg between the clubs at the Olympic Stadium on Wednesday:

Form: Ukrainian champions Dynamo have not played a competitive match since beating Maccabi Tel Aviv to qualify for the last 16 due to their country's long winter break. Instead they have been training and playing friendly games in the milder climes of southern Spain. They ended 2015 with six straight wins in all competitions, their last defeat coming away to Chelsea in the group stage in early November. City, in contrast, have already played 12 games since the turn of the year and fixture congestion led to manager Manuel Pellegrini sending out a weakened team for Sunday's 5-1 FA Cup fifth-round defeat at Chelsea. They will face Liverpool in the League Cup final at the weekend but their Premier League title hopes have been damaged by a run of just five wins in 12 games since the Champions League group stage concluded.

Manchester City - Manuel Pellegrini (CHI) -- 62 yrs
