Udeze hails Dream Team despite shortcomings

04 December 2015, 17:14

Lagos - Former Super Eagles defender Ifeanyi Udeze believes Nigeria U23 coach, Samson Siasia has put together, a very good team, despite their faltering start at the CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations.

The former Nigeria left-back says the team has shown tactical awareness in the two games they have played so far.

"As far as I am concerned, I think he (Siasia) has done a very good job. The boys are doing well and the team is good.

"I also think they are tactically sound, I believe."

The former PAOK Salonika of Greece defender however posited that the team has made some mistakes, particularly in the defense.

"I think they have made some mistakes, and that is in the defense. I don't think they really understand one another but otherwise, they have done well and Siasia has done a very good job.

"They must however win that game against Algeria if we must qualify," Udeze added
