London - Victor Moses has hailed his Chelsea teammate and
compatriot John Obi Mikel for leading Nigeria to a third place finish in the
men’s football event at the concluded Rio 2016 Olympics.
Mikel, who captained the team, scored Nigeria’s first goal
in a 2-0 victory over Denmark in the quarter final and provide all the assists
in a 3-2 win over Honduras in the third place match that ensured the Dream Team
win bronze medal.

“I was watching the games," Moses reports. "Obi was the
captain, the leader of the side and he did really well for them. It wasn’t easy
for them to go out to Brazil and win a medal so I’m very proud.” Moses said on
