WATCH: Billionaire Ifeanyi Ubah punches Mikel Obi’s brother

31 March 2016, 13:24Israel Ojoko

Lagos - Video has emerged of Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel’s older brother Ebele, being punched by billionaire businessman and owner of Nigeria Premier League club FC IfeanyiUbah, Ifeanyi Ubah.

The incident happened on March 23, 2016, during a fixture between FC IfeanyiUbah and Heartland, with the home team – FC IfeanyiUbah winning 1-0.

In the video, Ebele Obi, who is the goalkeeper of Heartland, was punched by Ubah, after which the player suffered several other punches from fans.

The League Management Company has however slammed a three-match ban on Ebele after a free-for-all that resulted during the game, and issued a warning to Ubah.

But with the latest video emerging, the LMC says “In the light of new video evidence emerging from the FC Ifeanyiubah v Heartland match, a review of sanctions meted out earlier will be done.”
