Write Enyimba off at your perile - Coach Aigbogun

20 June 2016, 09:49

Abuja - Enyimba International coach, Paul Aigbogun says that his team still stand a chance of progressing from the group stages of the Confederation of African Champions League despite a recent loss to Zamalek of Egypt, Vanguard reports.

Enyimba succumbed to a 0-1 defeat to the Egyptians in a group B match at the Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

Speaking after the match, Aigbogun felt the result was not a reflection of his team's performance as he felt they had dominated large parts of the game.

He also felt confident heading into their next match against Sundowns of South Africa.

Aigbogun said that his team will head into the remaining fixtures of the competition full of confidence, believing that they would reach the knock-out stages.
