Yarmalight sympathizes with Nasarawa United over the loss of Baba Idris

Abuja - Newly promoted Nigeria National League outfit, Yarmalight Football Club has commiserated with the management, players and supporters of Nasarawa United Football club of Lafia over the untimely death of one of their most reliable players, Baba Idris.

The skipper of the Solid Miners died after a brief illness at a hospital in Lafia according to the club's manager Solomon Babanjah.

Mallam Farouk Yarma, the proprietor and chairman of Yarmalight FC described his death as shocking considering his young age, his unfulfilled career as well as his contributions to his club and his family‎.

“It's indeed so touching to learn of the death of the captain of Nasarawa United Baba Idris after a brief illness in an undisclosed hospital,” the statement said.

“FC Yarmalight hereby condoles with the family of late Baba Idris, Nasarawa United and the entire football industry over the touching story.”

“May almighty Allah give his family the heart to bear the loss.”
