Lagos - Former Super Eagles captain has joined Nigeria

Yobo, who was tipped to join FC IfeanyiUbah when news broke
that he will feature for a club this season, has decided to pitch his tent with
the former Nigeria champions.
The former Everton defender signed a deal with the League
Management Company, LMC, organisers of the Nigerian top flight, which will see
him star for a domestic league club as a means of promoting and adding value to
the league by attracting more spectators to the various league match venues.

Chairman of the LMC Shehu Dikko has now revealed that Yobo
has headed north.
News24 reported that Yobo, in May, officially ended his
football career with a testimonial game played in Port Harcourt.
In the match, Team Nigeria defeated Team World 5-4 in a much
friendly encounter, with Emmanuel Emenike scoring a hat-trick.For
