The event is scheduled for November 13 to 14 at the Abuja National Stadium Gymnasium.

He added that badminton is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and many Nigerians are taking up the sport at both professional and amateur level.

Since the sport was introduced as an event in the All Africa Games, the Nigerian team has been one of the most successful having won over 30 medals.

The two-Day event is expected to bring together veteran clubs from all over the country, and in addition to competing for laurels, they will also deliberate on how to enhance the growth of the sport. - CAJ News Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device
