Lagos - The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) has kicked off
the final stages of its preparation for the looming 2015 All Africa Games and
the 2016 Olympic Games by forming 13 sub-committees to handle all required
facets of competing at those tournaments.
Habu Gumel, president of NOC, unveiled the committees this
week at an event held in Lagos.

“These subsidiary governing bodies are not only advisory but
equally essential in the promotion of Olympic values and the effective
implementation of Olympic Movement objectives,” the Guardian reports Gumel to

vision of expanding the scope of our operations to cover vital departments of
