Lagos - The 3rd edition of NSF Scrabble Meet billed for March 21 and 22 is set to light up the city of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The Ogun State Scrabble Association in collaboration with Gateway Scrabble Club under the auspices of the Nigeria Scrabble Federation is putting together the event that will take place at the Alake Sports Complex, Ijela Stadium in Abeokuta.
21 players have been invited to feature in this year’s competition. The players are to arrive at Dear Fellow Club, Onikolobo Abeokuta on March 20 with registration fixed for N3 000.

The players invited to participate according to ratings after the 2nd Scrabble Meet are Eta Karo (1865), Wellington Jighere (1832), Ayorinde Saidu (1803), Emmanuel Umujose (1796), Olatunde Oduwole (1776), Dennis Ikekeregor (1771), Moshood Sanni (1701), Prince Omosefe (1684), Timi Woko (1682), Onota Oteheri (1678) and Sunday Oshodi (1670).
Others are Moses Peter (1657), Rex Ogbakpa (1657), Nsikan Etim (1646), Cyril Umebiye (1645) and Azu Ogbogun (1645) - the Diaspora Invitees include Onota Ojiru (1626), Rasheed Balogun (1617), Tuoyo Mayuku (1526) - Wild card as best female rated player, Okusanya Bimbo (1120) - Wild card as host, Adebisi Adekansi (1060) - Wild card as host, Adeagbo Babtunde (1262) - Wild card as host.For the latest on national news, politics, sport, entertainment and more follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page.
