Lagos - The Nigeria Cricket Federation's holiday cricket
coaching clinic concluded this month.
Run in conjunction with the Howzat Foundation, the 19th
edition was hosted at the TBS Cricket Oval in Lagos.
Covering the history, spirit, umpiring and scoring laws of
the game, the clinic sported the services of revered coaches Gbenga Akinriola,
Dayo Lawal, Rasak Adams, Azeez Salako, Blessing Etim and Azuka Onwujiobi.
Senior national players Saheed Akolade, Leke Oyede and
Emmanuel Okwudili, too, were at hand to pay forward a wealth of individual and
collective experience and knowledge.
Nigeria are currently part of the International Cricket
Council's World Cricket League Division Five, which also includes fellow
African nation Tanzania.
