Lagos - The Technical Director of Cycling Federation of
Nigeria (CFN), Mohammed Bashir, is confident that they can impress all their
onlookers when they ride at the All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo.
The technical director has said that they are expecting to
bring home four medals, with two of them being gold.
Bashir also mentions that he feels they have all the right
ingredients to impress and educate everyone of what Nigerian cycling is all

"We are getting set to storm Congo Brazzaville with a
bang!" he told Extra Time
"We have been training very hard in Jos for the Games.
We participated in two international meets last month in preparation for the

in top shape now, by the last week of the camping exercise the cyclists will be
good to go. Even our female cyclists are currently number two in Africa.
"The technical crew have decamped four cyclists for not
meeting up with the standard set for the All Africa Games. Right now we have 18
cyclists remaining in camp comprising of nine males and nine females. Three
each will be dropped later and only six males and six female cyclists will be
selected to represent the country at the Games."For
