Abuja - Nigeria lost its opening contest in the table tennis event of the ongoing 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio on Friday through Chinedu Nick who was eliminated by a South Korean opponent.
Nick crashed out of the Paralympics in three sets to Kim Jung-Gil in the men’s singles Class 4 Group, losing 5-11, 5-11, 5-11.

Two other Nigerians were billed to be in action later in the evening.
Team Nigeria had earlier in the day won two medals — one gold and one silver — from the power-lifting competition.
