Lagos - Three female athletes are set to fly Nigeria’s flag for the first time, at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Seun Adigun, Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga are hoping to represent Nigeria in the Women’s Bobsled competition.
Nigeria is a force to reckon with in most events of the summer Olympics from history, but has never taken part in the winter Games due to the cold weather condition.
The winter games are done on ice and snow.
