20 Nigerian athletes who are based abroad are expected to attend the Rio 2016 Olympics trial in Delta State on July 7-9, Sportdaylive reports.
The athletes, according to president of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Solomon Ogba, have promised to sponsor their trips to Nigeria for the trials.

“Over 20 Nigerians from abroad have indicated intention to take part in the trials. Financing themselves.” Ogba said.
News24 report that the trials will hold in Sapele, Delta State.
