Rio - Aruna Quadri has crashed out of the table tennis men’s
single event after suffering a 4-0 defeat to China’s Ma Long.
Quadri lost in straight sets of 11-4, 11-2, 11-6, 11-7.

The Nigerian, who’s game against Ma Long coincided with his
28th birthday, was making his first quarter final appearance at the Olympics.
News24 reported that Quadri on Monday night emerged as the
first African ever to make it to the quarter finals of the men’s single table
tennis event at the Olympics.
