Rio Olympics: Siasia admits there’s much work to do after losing to F/Eagles

27 June 2016, 16:03

Dream Team coach Samson Siasia has admitted the side still has so much work to be done after suffering a 4-2 defeat to Flying Eagles in a friendly.

Flying Eagles defeated their superior 4-2. The Dream Team coached by Siasia will be heading to the Rio 2016 Olympics in August to compete in the football event

Siasia admitted afterwards that the better team won and stressed further that he still has a lot of work to do if Nigeria must excel at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Coach Amuneke as usual, was modest in victory, saying there is still a lot of work to be done.

The Flying Eagles earlier this week, defeated Okagbue FC from Anambra State 2-1 and thrashed Lion Stars of Suleja 4-0 in test matches ahead of their July 8 AFCON U-20 qualifier with Sudan in Khartoum.

News24 report that the Dream Team will head to the United States this week to fine-tune preparation for the Olympics.
