Abuja - Police are on the hunt for 30 men who are suspected of raping a teenage girl before uploading a video and image of the incident onto social media site Twitter.

While making her way home from her horrific experience, the victim is said to have discovered images of her rape online.

A 40-second video is also said to have surfaced online, with accounts associated with the footage having been suspended as a result

According to The Independent, the video was viewed by the girl's grandmother who claims that she regrets having watched it.

A mass protest surrounding the incident has since been called in the next few days with United Nations Women calling on Brazil police to investigate the matter while guarding the privacy of the victim.
