Lagos – A man who frequented a popular surfing spot in the Australia Gold Coast was stabbed in the eye by a fellow surfer with a surfboard because of an altercation that happened months ago, Huffington Post reports.
According to the victim, Mark Morlock, he had cut off a man while surfing five months ago. He returned to the surfing spot and asked Morlock if he remembered him and when Morlock responded positively, the attacker struck him in the eye with the surfboard.
Morlock was forced to swim back to shore to seek help with his damaged eye. He had to go through 12 hours of microsurgery but he will not lose sight in his eye.
He did not press charges and told the media he just wants the man who attacked to seek help for anger management.
