Abuja - An Australian man who was involved in a horrific car crash, that almost ended his life woke up from a week-long coma and spoke fluent Mandarin, a group of dialects spoken in Chinese, to the nurse, the DailyMail reported.
Ben McMahon, from Melbourne, was involved in a car crash that almost killed him two years ago. He fell into a week-long coma and when he evrually woke up, he muttered to the hospital staff, 'Excuse me nurse, I feel really sore here' in Mandarin.
Doctors called his parents to inform them that Ben had woken up from the coma, but that he was talking Mandarin.
Ben has now used his bizarre gift to study commerce in Shanghai , as well as hosting a Mandarin TV program.
