London– A woman with a disorder which causes excessive hair growth has decided to let her hair grow because it makes her feel more feminine, Mirror reports.
Harnaam Kaur, 23, has polycystic ovary syndrome. Her beard started growing when she was 11 years old. She admitted that she used to wax twice a week and she also tried shaving and bleaching in order to keep her facial hair under control.
Kaur was baptized as a Sikh, where she is forbidden to cut her body hair. But she says that she has become more comfortable with who God made her and is hoping to encourage more women to be confident with the way that they are.
