London- A Church of England priest who failed to appear in court on the day he was convicted of pocketing around 24,000 pounds ($37,000) of church funds has gone missing.
Police were searching Friday for 50-year-old Simon Reynolds, who was absent from the court in Sheffield a day earlier as a jury returned a verdict of four counts of theft.
