Lagos – A tiger who escaped a zoo in Tbilisi, Georgia, killed a man in the city centre and wounded one other, Sky News reports.
The Tbilisi Zoo was destroyed after heavy flooding and many animals escaped their enclosures. The tiger was in a factory and attacked the victim when he entered the room that the tiger was in. The tiger has since been killed by the police.

The flood which destroyed homes in the area killed many animals at the zoo – including lions, jaguars, bears and penguins.
