Lagos - Not complacent with just looking at pictures of their foetus are now able to actually hold the developing baby in their arms with a 3D printed replica of the foetus, Metro reports.
Gerard and Kate Bessette, an American couple, created their company, 3D Babies, so that expectant parents can hold their babies before they arrive and can share excitement of their new baby.
3D Babies creates a customised baby figurine with a 3D printer based on image from the ultrasound. The figurines range in price from $200 to $400.
The couple still need funding in order to buy the Stratasys U-Print SE Plus 3D printer that they require in order to make the figurines.
