Man arrested for flirting with 911 operator

Lagos - A US man was arrested after allegedly trying to flirt with a female 911 operator during an emergency phone call, The Independent reports.

According to the official arrest affidavit, Eduardo Raoul Garcia, 44, phoned the emergency line to report a harassing phone call and while he was talking to the operator he asked her if she was single and told her about his ‘big muscles’.

The operator responded that he sounded drunk and then put down the phone. Garcia phoned back twice but the police traced the call to Lake Griffin State Park in Florida and found him in a tent with a beer. He resisted arrest and made threats at the police officers, also as he was driven away he spat through the metal divider in the police car at the officers’ heads.

He is currently being held for misuse of the 911 system and battery on a law enforcement.
