Man chews off fingerprints in hopes of not being identified

Abuja - A Florida man allegedly chewed off his fingerprints in hopes of not being identified by police after stealing a car, Huffingtonpost reported.

The 20-year-old man is suspected of stealing a Mercedes Benz was spotted by police who had noticed it was the same vehicle that was reported at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Police officers approached the man and noticed he was carrying fake identity, an illegal firearm and fraudulent credit cards.

While he was waiting in the back of the police van, surveillance shows he chewed his fingerprints because he did not want to be identified for the crime.

The surveillance footage shows how he swallowed his own flesh but it did not work. He was still scanned by police and was discovered he had committed other crimes before.
