Miami - A man weighing 204kg was caught with dagga hidden under his belly fat by a drug-sniffing dog called in during a traffic stop, police in Florida said on Monday.
The 42-year-old passenger acted suspiciously when police stopped the driver near Orlando because the suspect was not wearing a seatbelt, a police spokesperson said.
A dog searched the car and alerted authorities to the drugs. Officers said they found 23g of dagga in the folds of the suspect's stomach fat.
The suspect tried to mask the smell of the drugs with carpet freshener, police reported.
He and the driver were both arrested in the Friday incident.
