Lagos - A U.S. mother was arrested for allegedly drowning her twin 2-year-old sons and attempting to drown another child, NBC reports.
Mireya Alejandra Lopez, 22, admitted her crime to investigators who came to her home in Phoenix, Arizona.
The authorities were called to Lopez’s home where they found the twin toddlers on a bed and they were unresponsive. The police tried to resuscitate the toddlers but they pronounced dead once they arrived at the hospital.

Lopez said she attempted to drown another child as well but her family members.
She will be charged at two counts of homicide and one count of attempted homicide.
