10 December 2014, 21:32

Lagos - A 25-year-old woman has an unusual addiction which is eating toilet paper and makes sure she eats at least one roll per day, MirrorUK reported.

The woman developed the addiction while she was pregnant by starting to eat one clean roll, soon after she discovered she can't go a day without getting her daily fix.

Every time she goes to the loo she has to make a tough decision to either try not to use the loo or she will end up chewing the toilet paper.

She has admitted that she likes the texture and taste of the toilet paper and just like ordinary food, different brands have different taste.

The mother-of-five has struggled to quite the habit and is ashamed to do it in front of her children.

The addiction has not caused any major illnesses yet and until that happens she will continue with her unusual snack.
