Romania - A priest has been released from jail after he was sentenced to seven years for killing a nun in 2005, the Daily Mail reported.
During a ritual the nun died as they were practicing what was believed to be a crucifixion.
She was found dead in an isolated area, strapped to a cross, without food nor water for five days.
People of the village chased away the priest because he claimed he would build an abbey in memory of the nun.
Although the priest believes that the nun died because she was possessed by satan and not from being tied to a cross. He also believes she suffered from schizophrenia and that was result of her death.
Four other nuns were also sentenced as they were found to have helped the priest in his doings.
