Lagos - Britain’s most tattooed man was rejected for a new passport after he legally changed his name to ‘King of Ink Land King Body Art The Extreme Ink-Ite’, Mirror reports.
The record holder, who’s birth name is Matthew Whelan, is called Body Art for short. Body Art’s new name appears on his driving licence but the Passport Office wanted to put his birth name on the documentation citing their policy says that if applicants change their names to phrases which aren’t usually recognised as names, they would not be issued a passport.
Body Art has claimed that he just wants to know why the Passport Office’s policies differ to the DMV.
Body Art has tattoos that cover 90% of his skin as well as the whites of his eyeballs.
