Lagos – The World Cup has returned to Brazil, but this time with a twist as the country hosted their first Gay World Cup, Metro reports.
The organisers were adamant that the original opening ceremony put Brazil to shame so the Gay World Cup began with all the 120 players of the tournament doing a choreographed dance routine to Shakira’s Waka Waka.

There are 12 teams in the tournament, including one that is comprised entirely from drag queens. The players receive a trophy for the winning team and there is an award for the bitchiest played, entitled ‘Miss Antipathy.’
