Lagos - Planning a robbery is no easy feat, but a thief from New Jersey, US, tripped put his foot in it when he called ‘911’ by accident which allowed the authorities to listen in on his master plan, AP reports.
The police were first unable to trace the caller’s location but later found out that the phone number belonged to Scott Esser, 42.

Esser was subsequently arrested a couple of days later in a Stafford Township home that he was trying to break into. He was then charged with the burglary of that home as well as others in the area, one of which was done the day 911 received the call.
