Connecticut – A woman has just admitted to making seven anonymous bomb call threats to court houses and newsroom in US because she was late for her court hearing, Huffington Post reports
Jennifer Chirico wanted to postpone her hearing for a minor charge so she telephoned courts in Waterbury, New Haven and Harford as well as law enforcement agencies and newsrooms to say that she had set up bombs that were due to explode.
When Chirico was questioned by the police, she revealed that her friend that was supposed to take her to court overslept so they encouraged her to make the phone calls. If she is charged she could be imprisoned for ten years and have to pay a fine of $ 250 000.
