Woman aborts baby when she finds out it’s a boy

11 February 2015, 15:25

Lagos – A woman who claims to be a feminist has reportedly aborted her baby after finding out it was male because of how men have treated her in the past, Metro reports.

Lena, a blogger, wrote on her blog that she discovered she was pregnant in 2012 and the father was a ‘donator’.  She said she was not ready to have a child but when she found out the child’s gender she mourned for three days and she could not stomach bringing another ‘monster’ into the world so she had the foetus aborted.

Lena writes often about her hatred of patriarchy and how men treat women, and many have said she appears to be more of a misandrist, which is someone that hates and is prejudiced against men, than a feminist, who is someone that believes in the equality of men and women.

Regarding the abortion, Lena said she hates what patriarchy turns men into and the chances of her male child becoming like that was high. She concluded by saying that if it was to fall pregnant with a male child again she would abort it again.
