Husband locks wife in bathroom for 3 years

Lagos - A woman in India was locked in her bathroom by her husband because she gave birth to a girl and not a boy as her in-laws had wanted, DailyMail reported.
The 25-year-old woman was also banned from seeing her daughter who did not even recognize her after the three years.
She was found by police with overgrown nails and torn clothes after they gained entry in her home. Her family had sought an intervention to look for her.

Her in-laws tortured her endlessly by refusing to giver her proper food. They also refused anyone from seeing her.
The woman could not barely open her eyes when she was found as she suffered in darkness in a small space.
