Company creates child sex dolls especially for pedophiles

14 January 2016, 11:20

Lagos – Trottla, a Japanese company, has been producing child sex dolls for clients for over ten years, believing them to help pedophiles from acting out their urges with real children.

In an interview with The Atlantic, Shin Takagi, the company’s founder, opened up about his own shameful impulses and how he has found a way to use the dolls as an outlet so that he would not ever have to harm children.

Trottla creates anatomically-correct versions of young girls, some as young as five, and has been shipping them to clients around the world for over ten years.

“We should accept that there is no way to change someone’s fetishes...I am helping people express their desires, legally and ethically. It’s not worth living if you have to live with repressed desire,” Takagi said.

Takagi said he’s gotten testimonials from thankful clients around the world who claimed he helped them from committing a serious crime, even some with professions like doctors, school teachers and celebrities.

He described his clients as ‘men living alone’ but he has also received orders from female clients who order the dolls to remind them about their own past or to ‘re-imagine an unfortunate childhood’ and some use the dolls to fill the void for daughters that they want.

There has been no research done to show whether Takagi’s method has worked in preventing child molestation cases. The Atlantic quoted Peter Fagan from the John Hopkins School of Medicine in saying that there is a greater chance that the dolls have a reinforcing effect on pedophiles and causes them to act on their desires with greater urgency.

Another scientist, Klaus Beier, from Don’t Offend, a pedophile-prevention network has said that he and his team found through intense study that they found stronger connectivity in brain regions which are related to impulse control in pedophiles who have not committed offenses than those who have. So it might be possible for pedophiles to use self control and not act on their impulses.

In 2013, when Vice asked Takagi how he would respond to people who say what he is doing is sick, he said:

“Some people have this view, but the doll is not a human being. Human rights do not belong to a doll—the victim does not exist anywhere. These people attack my company, but I do not need to justify myself. I expect many of these human beings either have mental problems. If you think our dolls are immoral, should we also remove all of the world’s nude sculptures, like the statue of David, just for reproducing genitalia?”

However he concluded his interview with The Atlantic by saying, “It is a common belief in Japan that dolls are mirrors...The dolls show their owner’s true self.”
