15 August 2016, 12:12

Abuja - A Miami man and his girlfriend have been arrested for allegedly beating up a grandmother for refusing to drive them home so they could engage in sex, the Miami Herald reports.

The couple, identified as Michael Rubio (25) and Jacquelyn Carrasquillo (27), are alleged to have been travelling with the man's grandmother when a fight broke out in the car over the fact that the woman did not want to take the couple to Carraquillo's house.

The victim stopped the car and attempted to jump out in order to walk home when her grandson and his girlfriend jumped out and proceeded to strike her several times before throwing her to the ground.

The couple is alleged to have then sped away, WSVN reports.

Both Rubio and Carrasquillo were arrested shortly after the incident and charged with multiple offenses, including robbery and battery of a person over the age of 65.
