Kids mistake dead baby for meat!

21 June 2016, 17:39

Abuja - Four kids mistakenly stumbled upon the mutilated corpse of a newborn baby while playing outside the yard of their house on Saturday.

According to a Daily Sun report, the kids, aged between four and eight, initially thought the body was a piece of meat dropped by a passerby.

Upon further inspection, however, it was discovered that the object was in fact the corpse of a newborn baby who still had its umbilical cord attached to the placenta.

Jabu Jwara, a South African resident, revealed that the baby was a symbol of bad luck brought to the home to allegedly haunt the family.

"My mind is not at peace and I can’t sleep at night as flashbacks of the little corpse haunt me," she said.

Thulani Zwane, spokesman for the Kwazulu-Natal police, has confirmed the incident while claiming that a case of murder has been filed.
