Man gets fine for burping too loud

23 February 2016, 17:06

Lagos - While we all know it isn’t courteous, apparently in Vienna, Austria it borders illegal to burp, as one man found out after eating too many onions on his kebab.

According to The Independent, Edin Mehic, a bartender posted on his Facebook page that he was out at the Prater fun part area when he received the ticket for €70  for ‘violating public decency’.

He said that he had just had a kebab with a lot of onions just before he burped, and the burp annoyed the police officer close to him in the park.
