Pair force 14 year old to have sex with 288 men

15 August 2016, 10:05

Abuja - United States security operatives are currently in search of possible human trafficking victims after a teenager reported that a couple had forced her to have sex with an estimated 288 people, the Washington Post reports.

The couple, identified as Atuan Saran Rogers (34) and Dierra Victoria Lee Thomas (19), have been charged of prostitution offences, while operatives have revealed that the teen worked for the pair for approximately 2 and a half months.

The pair is alleged to have approached the teen, aged 14, at a hotel while she was in the company of friends. Shortly thereafter, she met the pair again and began working as a prostitute for them.

During the time she worked for the couple, the teen alleges that she was made to work three or four days a week and was forced to have sex with between 8 and 10 people a day.

The girl also alleges that she had no access to money and was beaten when she did not "want to have sex anymore".

In addition to prostitution, Rogers has been charged with human trafficking while Thomas was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit human trafficking, The Root reports.
