PHOTO: Suspected 'angel from heaven' stuns villagers

06 May 2016, 15:08

Abuja - Residents of a remote village were left stunned after they discovered what was perceived to have been an "angel from heaven" that appeared on a nearby beach.

According to the UK Telegraph, the human-like figure was discovered in April by an Indonesian fisherman, who reported that he had heard the ethereal figure falling from the sky.

The man described the woman as "shining white", lying face down on the beach sand and wearing only a white cloth.

The fisherman proceeded to take the "angel" to his home, where he re-dressed her and spread the news across the village and social media.

The figure, however, turned out to be a sex doll that was dumped off a passing boat!

It remains unclear what the villagers decided to do with the doll after it was revealed that she was not an angel.

See the "angel" below.
